Previous Institution: National Institute of Technology Calicut, Kozhikode. Bachelor of technology.Background: I was born in Asansol, Kolkata. I have done my schooling in Delhi Public School, Ranchi. I am a bengali and I always had an interest in building & fixing things. While pursuing my bachelors degree I built a rotary muck remover which was used for our technical Fest “tatva” as a model display. I have participated in acting and sports in my undergraduate college. I have been an active member of our college mathematical club. I am also fond of painting and have won numerous prizes and my sketches have also been published in our college magazine. I am also a gold medalist of my department and I received my Gold Medal from India’s former president and scientist Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam.

Current Activities: Graduate Research Assistant Mechanical Engineering, Interest: Discontinuous Galerkin.

Publications: In my undergraduate study I worked on “conjugate heat transfer analysis of a vertical electronic circuit board with discrete heat sources” . This analysis was done using alternate direction implicit method and coding was done in C language. Comparisons of temperature distribution were made using various non dimensional parameters.

Extracurricular Activities: I like painting, swimming and playing football.
