Changzhe Jiao, a member of our lab, began an internship at Mitsubishi Electric Research Lab on November 6th!  His research at Mitsubishi will focus on the compression and reconstruction of remote sensing data with methods like block adaptive quantization and compressive sensing. The goal is to develop and apply data compression algorithms to large volume remote sensing data such as Hyperspectral or Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) images.
