The Machine Learning and Sensing Lab is excited to welcome our newest lab member, Blake Fowler! Blake is a first-year student in the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science. Blake is deeply motivated to build a strong theoretical and applied foundation in machine learning. He enjoys exploring research, playing chess, reading, and developing coding projects. In the lab, he will be working on developing an automated pipeline for processing drone-captured hyperspectral imagery of plants, with the goal of extracting spectral information at the individual-plant level.
