Congratulations to our labmate, Meilun Zhou, for accepting an internship at The Alan Turing Institute! The Turing is UK’s national institute for data science established in 2015 by five founding universities – Cambridge, Edinburgh, Oxford, UCL, and Warwick – along with the UK Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council.
Meilun is part of the inaugural cohort for one of the international internships SMART offers this year. He will be working on improving detection and classification of objects, events, and actions from multi-modal and noisy datasets. This research will include generating multi-modal synthetic data to enable bounding box generation for unlabeled datasets.
Great job, Meilun!
