Congratulations to our labmate, Josh Peeples, for passing his Oral Qualifying Exam and becoming a PhD candidate!  For the remainder of his PhD work, Josh plans on investigating fundamental research questions on “Connecting the Past and the Present: Histogram Layers for Deep Neural Networks”. His committee thinks it’s an interesting topic — and we do too!
