Congratulations to Dr. Changzhe Jiao, GatorSense’s newest PhD graduate

Xiaoxiao Du and Brendan Alvey presented their work at SPIE DSS 2017

Our labmates Xiaoxiao Du and Brendan Alvey presented their work at SPIE DSS 2017 in Anaheim, CA this past week. Xiaoxiao presented on environmentally-adaptive target recognition system for SAS imagery . Brendan presented his work on Fourier features for explosive hazard detection. They did an excellent job presenting their work!

GatorSense Rock Climbing and Painting!

The lab went out rock climbing and painting last weekend! GatorSense members at UF had a great time rocking climbing at the Lake Wauburg South Shore and our labmates at MU tested out their artistic talents at Paint the Town in downtown Columbia, MO. As usual, we followed these up with plenty of pizza.

Changzhe Jiao finalist for best student paper at IGARSS 2017

Congratulations to our labmate Lysny Woodahl and her team GatorSynchro for placing 5th overall and 1st among Club teams at the Synchronized Swimming Collegiate Nationals in Columbus, OH! Lysny individually placed 1st in C figures and her duet placed 9th overall. Congratulations Lysny!

Congratulations labmate Anand Seethepalli on new position

Congratulations to our former labmate, Anand Seethepalli on his new appointment as a Research Associate at the Samuel Roberts Noble Foundation!
