The Unsteady Fluid Dynamics Group is housed in room 119 of the MAE-A building. The group primarily conducts experimental research in facilities at both the University of Florida’s Research and Engineering Education Facility in Shalimar, Florida and on the main campus in Gainesville. These facilities include wind tunnels to study both subsonic and supersonics flows. In addition to these wind tunnels there is also a significant amount of advanced diagnostic equipment.

- Supersonic Wind Tunnel
- 24″x24″ or 36″x36″ closed circuit tunnel ~90 m/s
- 29″x48″ anechoic open jet ~75 m/s
- Aerodynamic Characterization Facility (UF REEF)
Diagnostic Equipment
- 500 Hz Stereo PIV System from Dantec Dynamics
- Stereo-Scopic PIV System from LaVision
