The Center brings together faculty, researchers, students, national-laboratory collaborators, and industry partners with expertise spanning thermomagnetic processing, materials characterization, predictive modeling, and industrial system development.

A Team Built Around Complementary Expertise

Our work depends on collaboration across materials science, physics, computational modeling, engineering, and industrial practice.

Center participants contribute expertise in magnetic-field-assisted processing, phase transformations, thermodynamics and kinetics, materials characterization, multiscale modeling, induction heating, system development, and manufacturing evaluation. Together, these perspectives connect fundamental scientific questions with experimentally validated and industrially relevant research.
