Hunter, Yuki, Ziyi, and Kat presented at Graduate Student Research Day on Tuesday, April 2nd, 2024.  Yibo presented at the 13th annual Biomaterials Day on March 28th, 2024. We are so proud of our members for their hard work!

Recently Master’s students Justin Rietberg, Hiroyuki Matsumura, Yibo Wang, Ziyi Zhao successfully defended their Master’s theses. Congratulations to these students!

Kat was recently selected to participate in the inaugural International Research Experiences for Students (IRES). The IRES program allows students to research internationally in varying interests. Students engage in high-quality collaborative research at an international site with mentorship from international researchers. Kat will be participating in the manufacturing program in Italy. Congrats Kat!

Congratulations to Justin on receiving the SMART Scholarship! The DoD Science, Mathematics, and Research for Transformation (SMART) Scholarship provides academic funding and career opportunities for selected STEM students. After graduating, Justin will begin working for the Naval Sea Systems Command at NSWC Panama City Division.
