Daniel Frank has successfully completed his PhD. His dissertation, Investigating Culturally-Contextualized Making with the Navajo Nation, used phenomenology to understand the different ways that the Navajo people experience Making. He then used these findings to propose the design of a culturally-contextualized Makerspace that reflects elements of the Navajo culture. Frank will formally receive his PhD at the University of Florida commencement ceremony in May, 2018.
