I am an Assistant Professor, and currently the Nelms Rising Star Endowed Professor at the ECE department in the University of Florida (joined in Fall 2022). My interests are in low power, efficient, and secure circuits and systems design for smart applications.

Biography
Baibhab received the Ph.D. degree in 2022 from the Elmore Family School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Purdue University. He is currently an Assistant Professor and the Nelms Rising Star Endowed Professor in the Department of ECE at the University of Florida. His industry experience includes two years as a digital design engineer/senior digital design engineer at Intel (2015-17) and one year as a R&D Engineer at Tejas Networks, India (2011-12). He was also in the Quantum Hardware Design team with IBM T.J. Watson Research Center, NY, USA during 2020-21, where he worked on ultra-low power quantum receiver front-ends.
Baibhab is the recipient of the NSF CAREER Award (2025), the Eaton Award in Design Excellence (2023), and multiple best paper/poster awards, including HOST 2018 (3rd), CICC 2019, HOST 2019, CICC 2021, and the RFIC/IMS 3MT Award (2020 – audience choice). His research interests include low-power analog, RF, and mixed-signal circuit design for next-generation biomedical and military applications.
Baibhab is a member of the IEEE, and has served as a reviewer for IEEE/ACM journals including JSSC, TCAS-I, TBIOCAS, TVLSI, IOT-J, TDSC, SSCL, TCAS-II, MWCL, IEEE ACCESS, TMC and JETC, and IEEE/ACM conferences including CICC, CASES, BioCAS, ISCAS, VLSID, MWSCAS and EMBC. He served as a Student Advisor for the SRP session in IEEE ISSCC, and as a TPC Member in DAC, CICC, MWSCAS, CASES and VLSID. He is currently serving as an associate editor for TBioCAS, and as an associate editor in the RFID section/ guest editor in the Antennas Array section for the Frontiers in Antennas and Propagation. He is the Founding member and Program Chair of the IEEE International Conference on Intelligent Computing and Systems at the Edge (ICEdge).
