Get a Website

This service is available to provide Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering faculty and research labs with websites to showcase their research. We welcome your feedback concerning how the service works for you and ways in which we could improve it.

If you’d like a website, please follow these steps:

  1. Gather your content (copy, images, documents). Refer to the Template Site as a guide for the kind of content you may need.
  2. Determine who will keep your site content updated. It’s an ongoing job!
  3. Submit a request through the Engineering project intake form for your faculty or lab website to be provisioned. If your site will need additional site editors, put their Gatorlink usernames in the field for additional details. You will receive a notification email when your site has been created.
  4. Refer to the WordPress help and how-to and Web standards and policies as you edit and add content to your site.
  5. Need help? Contact webmaster Sarah Zachrich Jeng at szjeng@eng.ufl.edu.
