The facilities used by UFDG members include wind tunnels to study both subsonic and supersonics flows. In addition to these wind tunnels there is also a significant amount of advanced diagnostic equipment.<\/p>\n<h1>Wind Tunnels<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/faculty.eng.ufl.edu\/unsteady-fluid-dynamics-group\/facilities\/supersonic-wind-tunnel\/\">Supersonic Wind Tunnel<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/faculty.eng.ufl.edu\/unsteady-fluid-dynamics-group\/facilities\/anechoic-wind-tunnel-2\/\">Closed Circuit Wind Tunnel\u00a0<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/faculty.eng.ufl.edu\/unsteady-fluid-dynamics-group\/facilities\/anechoic-wind-tunnel\/\">29&#8243;x48&#8243; anechoic open jet ~75 m\/s<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1>Diagnostic Equipment<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li>Stereo\/Tomographic PIV System from LaVision<\/li>\n<li>Scanning Laser Vibrometer from Polytec<\/li>\n<li>High Speed Digital Image Correlation System<\/li>\n<li>Several Pressure Systems Scanning pressure Transducers<\/li>\n<li>Multiple Channel of Hot-Wire Anemometry<\/li>\n<li>Multiple Kulite pressure transducers and the associated hardware<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Unsteady Fluid Dynamics Group\u00a0 is housed in room 119 of the MAE-A building.\u00a0 The group primarily conducts experimental research for fundamental understanding of fluid flow phenomena and its control.
