Simmons Research Lab recently returned from a four-day retreat near Orlando. The retreat was designed to\u00a0build community, communicate groups norms and expectations, develop individual\u00a0strategic plans, and introduce research skills. The retreat was a fun opportunity to welcome new members to the group while creating a\u00a0shared vision for the future. We enjoyed engaging in\u00a0discussions by the pool, broadening our exposure to qualitative and quantitative\u00a0methods, and sharing our research backgrounds. It\u00a0was a productive and motivating way to start the new academic year\u200b!<\/div>\n
