Social sustainability in construction can be described as \u201ca life-enhancing process to accomplish social equity among all construction stakeholders [including construction workers] in terms of health, education, economic welfare, and other human rights\u201d (Karakhan and Gambatese 2017). The proposed study aims to bridge this gap in knowledge and practice by developing a practical model of workforce sustainability. Workforce sustainability is defined by the investigators as a property of a workforce that reflects the extent to which the workforce can perform its desired function over a selected period of time.
