This is the first time in UF BME&#8217;s history that a post-doc is being recognized in the BME Departmental Excellence Awards.<\/p>\n<p>The postdoctoral Associate Excellence Award is given to a BME postdoctoral associate who has conducted outstanding research, exhibits leadership, mentorship and service as he progresses toward a defined career. Postdoctoral associates are individuals who have recently completed a doctoral degree and are under the oversight of a faculty mentor.
