Pruitt Research Day 2024

On September 23rd, the J. Crayton Pruitt Family Department of Biomedical Engineering held its annual graduate research day. This celebration holds special significance as it coincides with the birthdate of Dr. J. Crayton Pruitt Sr., whose vision and generosity were instrumental in founding our department. Dr. Pruitt was always passionate about student achievements and research, making this event a fitting tribute to his legacy.

Tomas Clavijo-Garcia presented his research in a poster titled, “Characterizing Uptake Mechanisms of Manganese Dioxide Nanoparticles in Natural Killer Cells.”

Great work!
