The Attributes of a Gator Engineer Awards are bestowed annually to graduate and undergraduate students who best exemplify the attributes that Gator Engineers are charged with having upon the completion of their degrees. Attributes are among the highest honors within the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering and are open to all students within the college.
Attributes awarded include Creativity, Leadership, Integrity, Professional Excellence, and Service to the Global Community. While our students exemplify aspects of each of these Attributes, Jessica Aldrich was awarded the Attributes of a Gator Engineer Award for Professional Excellence earlier this Spring. This award is presented to a student who strongly models technical competency, management skills including planning and problem solving, as well as deep scientific insight. You can read more about the award here.
Anyone who has worked with Jessica can provide testimony to Jessica’s leadership and dedication to mentoring and inspiring those around her. She has led the efforts to characterize the manganese dioxide nanoparticle therapeutic system and its uptake mechanisms for osteoarthritis.
Congratulations Jessica!
