To celebrate her departure, the lab roasted her in traditional Schmidt Lab style (well, except it was virtual). The lab members also bid farewell to Deanna and her fianc\u00e9, Dr. Winston Chu, both UFBME graduates, by painting the 34th Street Wall &#8211; a great Gainesville tradition! There was a surprise visit by Dr. McCrary too (former Schmidt Lab UFBME PhD).
