He completed an M.Sc. degree from Western University in Canada and a Ph.D. in chemical and biomolecular engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Before joining UF he was a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Dr. Restrepo-Fl\u00f3rez is passionate about sustainability.
