Juan Manuel Restrepo-Flórez
Dr. Restrepo-Flórez was born in Medellin, Colombia, where he graduated with a B.Sc. in biological engineering. He completed an M.Sc. degree from Western University in Canada and a Ph.D. in chemical and biomolecular engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Before joining UF he was a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Dr. Restrepo-Flórez is passionate about sustainability. His work leverages simulation and optimization for the development of tools that enable the next generation of chemical processes.
