We are recruiting students at all levels to join our research group in the following areas:
- Extreme light-matter interactions: exploring quantum-engineered 2D materials to unlock higher-order nonlinear phenomena
- Nanoscale Quantum Sensing and Imaging: developing nanoscale quantum sensing and imaging strategies and advancing quantum spin microscopy with optimized spin-photon interfaces
Candidates with strong backgrounds in electrical engineering, applied physics, materials science, physics, and other related physical science and engineering fields are well-suited to contribute to our team. While prior experience in the following areas is preferred, but not required: 2D devices, nanofabrication, quantum photonics, nanophotonics, solid-state spin systems, electromagnetic modeling and analysis, quantum emitters, and precision measurements.
If you are interested, please directly email Dr. Kim at l.kim@ufl.edu with a detailed CV.
