Prof. Orazem’s teaching was recognized at the University of Florida by receipt of the 2021 Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering Doctoral Dissertation Advisor/Mentoring Award, the Blue Key Distinguished Professor Award (2008), the Excellence in Teaching Award from the Chemical Engineering students (2006), the College of Engineering Distinguished International Educator Award (2005), a TIP Award for Outstanding Undergraduate Teaching (1993), and the College of Engineering Award for Outstanding Undergraduate Teaching (1991-1992). He is also the recipient of the 2012 Electrochemical Society Henry B. Linford Award for Distinguished Teaching.
