DR. SHUHEI KODAMA WON THE 2021 JSPE NUMATA MEMORIAL PAPER AWARD

Congratulations to Dr. Shuhei Kodama for winning the 2021 JSPE Numata Memorial Paper Award!

Dr. Kodama visited Dr. Greenslet’s (Dr. Yamaguchi’s) laboratory at UF in 2017 to perform collaborative research work. At the time, he was a PhD student at the Tohoku University in Japan. The work performed at UF provided the foundation for the awarded paper.

This is one of the most prestigious awards given by JSPE. Recently, only two papers have been selected for this award per year.
