We are pleased to invite you to the eighth C^3 workshop on cognition & control, to be held March 6 & 7 at the University of Florida in the J. Wayne Reitz Union Chamber. Co-organized by Yuheng Bu, Jie Fu, and Sean Meyn from the ECE Department, the workshop is sponsored by the Army Research Office, NSF, and the UF Pittman Endowment.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The purpose of this meeting is the same as the previous C3<\/sup> workshops: To educate each other and the public, and to engage in discussion related to topics in control and cognition (which includes information theory and statistical learning). The conference is organized in such a way as to leave lots of time for discussion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Application areas have included communication, power systems, and brain science.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
