Ph.D. research assistantship opportunities

Looking for motivated undergraduate students or master’s students interested in pursuing Ph.D. research in AI in additive manufacturing and smart manufacturing starting in Spring 2026. The candidates need to

Have solid knowledge and get a B+ and higher in courses like solid mechanics, materials science, materials testing, design and manufacturing, measurement and instrumentation, and thermodynamics.
Have excellent knowledge and get an A in courses like probability, statistics, and data analytics.
Skillful in CAD, FEA, and Python
Curious about new knowledge and interdisciplinary research
(Preferred) Have experience in additive manufacturing, especially in laser powder bed fusion
