The designs are prototyped and printed in our lab. Start by filling out a member application and you will get an email to join the slack. After looking at the meeting times on the Excel sheet, check team availability and join Slack. class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-heading\"><strong><em>Becoming A Captain<\/em><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-heading\"><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Being a captain <strong>means leading a team<\/strong> in creating their project for the semester. You will be responsible for <strong>directing your team, guiding members to complete your project, and teaching members<\/strong> new skills. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Captains also have to be adaptable in case any sudden changes come about. They must also be able to work with the other captains, including those in different divisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-heading\"><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">In order to become a captain, you must:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Have been involved for at least one semester in GRiP<\/li><li>Be knowledgeable about the team you are applying for<\/li><li>Be able to attend at least two events throughout the semester<\/li><li>Be able to attend at least one meeting a week<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-heading\"><strong>Captain Applications<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">To apply to be a captain, look in the Slack channels towards the end of each semester.
