Hiring Summer AI Bootcamp Positions
We are looking for 1 PhD student to lead a lab section for a machine learning bootcamp and 2-3 masters students to serve as teaching assistants (TAs) and graders.
Availability
- Summer 2025 – May 1 – Aug 15th, 2025
- Ability to support labs on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 6-9pm

Requirement
- a PhD student that has taken at least 1 Machine Learning or AI related course with an A or A-
- ability to explain complex topics to others
- good communication skills
- good time management skills
- permission from advisor

Desired Qualifications:
- Experience as a teaching assistant
- Completed UF/ CISE CS Teaching and Learning Course
- experience supervising undergraduate or masters students
Salary
- 0.5 FTE (20 hrs) TA Stipend & Tuition Waiver

Hiring Website and Social Media Manager
We are looking for an undergraduate student to assist with updating several project websites and design and regularly post about the lab’s projects on social media.
Time Commitment
Eligible candidates need to be able to commit at least 10hrs/week. The student will be required to attend project-specific meetings and the weekly lab meeting and to work independently to complete assigned work.
Availability
We are looking for at least a one year commitment to provide continuity but we are flexible:
- The remainder of Spring 2025,
- Opportunity to work part-time during the summer / If you have an internship no worries we can resume in the Fall
- Fall 2025 & Spring 2026
Salary
$15/hour, 10 hrs/wk
Required Qualifications:
- experience using social media to make posts (e.g., X, Instagram, LinkedIn)
- a willingness to learn to learn how to use WordPress, Google sites, Canvas
- experience using Google Docs & Drive
- ability to work and deliver on tight deadlines
- familiarity with Canva or other graphic design tools
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience using WordPress
