EEC Student Working with the Navajo

Engineering Education Collaborative PhD student Daniel Frank is working on the Navajo Nation to help them develop a MakerSpace to promote STEM that is based on their own traditions. His goal is not to impose Western approaches to engineering on the Navajo, but to understand their unique approach to engineering that could provide new perspectives to difficult problems.
