Michelle Alvarado is the Co-Founder and Co-Director of the HEALTH-Engine Laboratory. The aim of her research is to develop theory, models, algorithms, and practical tools to improve the operation of complex systems under uncertainty. Her main research interests are in integrated simulation and optimization methods applied to healthcare systems engineering for decision-making under uncertainty.  Dr. Alvarado focuses on stochastic programming and hybrid simulation modeling. Alvarado_CV<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
